Administration
Dr. Clark Harden brings twenty-seven years of educational leadership to Highlands Elementary School. His career spans several key roles, including teacher, assistant principal, high school principal and secondary director of curriculum and instruction, equipping him with a deep understanding of academic growth and student achievement. Throughout his administrative career, he has focused on strengthening school culture, strategic planning, and implementing high-accountability practices.
He and his wife, Sam, have two boys, Jaycee and Cam, and a daughter-in-law, Josi. The family's love of quail hunting results in them having four fur friends: Shug, Dolly, Doc, and Gus. The Harden family also enjoys sports, the beach, and any activity that creates time together.
Hello! My name is Juliette Holland, and I am excited to begin my first year at Highlands Elementary School. I have eight years of teaching experience in Kindergarten, First Grade, and Third Grade. I hold a Master's degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama. As I step into this new administrative role, I look forward to supporting students, teachers, and families while helping create a positive, engaging, and successful school environment. Outside of school, I enjoy watching my husband coach football, being on the water, and attending sporting events.
