Administration

Ms. Bouchard has been with Dothan City Schools for five years and at Highlands for three years. She has experience as a sixth grade teacher, curriculum specialist, university professor, and an administrator. A graduate of the University of Colorado-Boulder, and with thirty-one years in education, Ms. Bouchard enjoys spending time with her three children, extended family, and friends.

Ms. Buchanan has twenty one years in education and has been at Highlands for three years. She has a bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and Special Education, a master's degree in School Counseling, and a master's degree in Instructional Leadership. 

She and her husband Brad have two children, Madalyn and Brady. They enjoy traveling to national parks and going to the mountains.
