About Me

This is my ninth year as the Library Media Specialist at Highlands. In my thirteen years with Dothan City Schools, I have taught first, second, fifth, and sixth grades, along with being a Library Media Specialist. I graduated from the University of South Alabama with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and from the University of West Alabama with my Master’s and Educational Specialist degrees in Library Media.

I have three fur babies, Dexter, Duke, and Ellie. I enjoy reading, baking, doing puzzles, going to the beach, and spending time with my family.
